The Las Vegas Chapter ACI is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to advancing concrete technology through education and professional development. Our Board of Directors and members represent all sectors of the construction industry, including concrete producers, engineers, contractors, testing laboratories, local and state government agencies, material suppliers, educators, specifiers, and designers. Together, we work to raise standards and promote excellence in concrete construction.

Our chapter is committed to sharing knowledge that strengthens the quality and performance of concrete in local projects.

We host regular technical meetings presented by well-renowned professionals who offer crucial and relevant information for our industry in an engaging and entertaining way. Many of these speakers are recognized leaders in the industry, including presenters from the World of Concrete and members of ACI National Committees - experts who help develop the specifications and standards you rely on every day.

Education from textbooks isn’t always the best way to learn, sometimes you must see it! That is why the Chapter periodically offers Demonstration Projects or Site Tours. We invite you to join us and see hands-on demonstrations and innovative concrete technologies in practice.

The Las Vegas Chapter ACI is one of the most active Chapters for ACI certification in the country, offering fourteen ACI certification programs. In addition to certification testing, the Chapter also offers training courses to provide individuals with a more thorough understanding of testing procedures

The Las Vegas Chapter ACI also sponsors the “Excellence In Concrete Awards” which is the only local event to recognize local construction projects specifically for their innovative or excellent use of structural or architectural concrete.

Through your membership, you will also be helping to support the ACI UNLV Student Chapter. The Las Vegas Chapter ACI helps support these student members in many ways including funding for participation in student competitions at ACI conventions; materials for projects; and providing guest lecturers for university classes.
